To provide competitive and recreational cricket for both sexes for ages six and upwards for all abilities within the local community. To provide an infrastructure for the development of cricket for all ages from six and upwards so as to produce the highest quality senior and youth cricket for St James's Montefiore to thrive in the local community
Five Year Plan
St James's Montefiore Cricket Club is developing a five year plan based on the England and Wales Cricket Board template. See the plan
St. James's Montefiore Cricket Club is a Focus Club and is registered under the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Club Mark. Our coaches carry out in-school training under the Chance to Shine national scheme.
Our Young players have the opportunity with group and one-to-one coaching to develop their skills. We have currently 2 players in the South of England Under 15 squad featuring in the Bunbury Festival, with others in various county and area squads. Teams are entered in local leagues and county competitions together with national knock outs.
As a progression we currently run 5 Saturday sides and 2 on Sundays so all young players can work through to whatever level they wish to achieve and enjoy.
